A wonderfully stylized old Dance mask with large bulbous nose, wide ears and a large toothy retractable jaw representing a powerful forest spirit.  This mask shows plenty of wear and field use.  * Once considered to originate from the Bidayuh Dayak, or Kantu Dayak, but the latest information is they are from one of the Kanayatn groups, mostly living in the Landak area, just south of the Sarawak border, Dayak peoples, Borneo / Kalimantan / Indonesia.
