A carved wooden ceremonial mask with distorted eyes and teeth, attached animal hide once adorned the mustache, and a beard hat appears to be human hair.
This is a uncommon ceremonial mask for an adult dancer. The distorted face and features suggest a type of Illness mask that would have been danced to ward of an illness in the village.
The mask overall has a very well weathered and worn surface.
