A Fine 19th century pua kumbu , a traditional textile which was woven on back-strap looms by women.  The decorative pattern is created by Ikat dying, a tie-dying process during which the individual threads are dyed before being woven.  This is an exceptional example and quite large. The textile on Museum style mount measures 86.5 x 45 inches.  A difficult piece to ship, please contact us for options.
